Thanks to all of those who made the 2007 Jr. High Youth Rally a BIG success. Over 330 youth and adults attended the event from all over the diocese. Thanks again to St. Andrews in Holts Summit for being excellent hosts.

Drop the Stone...GRAB THE ROCK!!
Come one, come all to the 2007 Jr. High Youth Rally on Sunday, March 25th. The rally, which is being held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Holts Summit, will feature a keynote speaker, house band, interactive break-out sessions, and lots of games and prizes.
This year's rally, which will run from 11am-6pm, features the talents of comedian Bob Perron,
and the music of Oddwalk Ministries.
Mr. Perron, who will also be leading a session for adults, leads a ministry called Stooge 4 Christ, which can be found at http://stooge4christ.com. There will be pizza served for lunch and an afternoon snack provided as well. In addition to all of that, the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered throughout the day. The rally will end with celebration of the Eucharist which will begin at 5pm.
The event is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The cost of the rally is only $10 for youth and $5 for adults if the registrations are received into the Diocesan Youth Office by Thursday, March 22nd. After that date, the cost will be $12 for youth and $7 for adults.
To register for this event, please contact your parish youth ministry leader or coordinator. If you ARE that leader or coordinator, contact Pat Reinkemeyer in the Diocesan Youth Ministry office. You can reach Pat either by e-mail at communitymin@diojeffcity.org or by phone at 635-9127. You may also contact Pat if you have additional questions or concerns.
